Lender Appetite

Strong Projects Attract the Right Capital

The combination of asset value, sustainable cash flow, sponsor equity and exit strategy drives funding credibility.

What makes a strong financing case

A strong asset is an important starting point, but its financing potential depends on the full transaction.

Value must support requested leverage; sustainable cash flow must support debt service; and the sponsor's equity contribution, business plan and exit strategy must be consistent.

Why alignment matters

Lenders can assess a transaction with greater confidence when its inputs, repayment plan and security are credible.

The objective is not necessarily to maximise debt, but to find a structure that supports execution, growth and a successful exit.

KSCG perspective
